Golden Bell Awards announce 61st nominations for Taiwanese productions

The nominations for the 61st Golden Bell Awards have been announced, highlighting significant achievements for various Taiwanese production partners and performers.

Taiwan Mobile and its streaming platform MyVideo saw substantial success, with eight co-invested works receiving a total of 22 nominations. Notable entries include ‘Let’s Drink, Idiot!’, which earned four nominations across directing, writing, and acting, and ‘Zoo’, which secured six nominations including Best Actress for Shao Yu-wei. Other recognized works include ‘Love in the Air’ and ‘He Bai-rui’s Hellish Love Song’.

In the variety and children’s programming sectors, Banana Brother (Lin Lun-yuan) and Ah Hou (Lin Chang-fu) have been nominated for Best Host in a Children and Youth Program for ‘Ah Hou’s Mission’.

While some performers expressed disappointment at being overlooked, such as actress Sky (Tian Xin) for her role in ‘The Six of Us’, the industry continues to see diverse representation across drama, reality, and music genres.
