The Golden State Valkyries defeated the Chicago Sky 91-71 on Wednesday night, marking their fifth consecutive victory. Tiffany Hayes led the Valkyries with a season-high 22 points coming off the bench, supported by Veronica Burton’s 13 points and Kaila Charles’ 15 points.

With a record of 24-9, the Valkyries are positioned to potentially clinch a playoff berth by the end of the week. The team has won 14 of its last 16 games. Golden State played without starting center Kiah Stokes, who is currently in concussion protocol, and Janelle Salaun, who is sidelined with knee soreness.
