Memphis Grizzlies defeat Golden State Warriors 111-108

The Memphis Grizzlies overcame a 12-point deficit to defeat the Golden State Warriors 111-108 at the Chase Center in San Francisco. The comeback was fueled by a 17-0 run in the final minutes, punctuated by a go-ahead jumper from rookie Cameron Boozer with 20 seconds remaining. Boozer finished the game with 25 points and 13 rebounds.

Ty Jerome led the Grizzlies with 28 points. For the Warriors, rookie Yaxel Lendeborg recorded 18 points, 13 rebounds, and six assists, marking the first such performance by a Warriors rookie since Chris Webber. Despite the individual success, Golden State struggled late, missing nine consecutive shots and committing several turnovers.

Warriors coach Steve Kerr noted that multiple factors contributed to the loss, describing the collapse as an “avalanche.” The Warriors move to a 0-2 record, while the Grizzlies improve to 2-0 for the season.
