Golden State Warriors host Sacramento Kings as Chase Center earns LEED Platinum
The Golden State Warriors are set to host the Sacramento Kings for their fourth preseason game on Saturday, October 10, at the Chase Center. The matchup follows a recent preseason loss to the Portland Trail Blazers.
In related news, the Warriors announced that the Chase Center has earned LEED Platinum certification for Operations and Maintenance from the U.S. Green Building Council. This makes it the third NBA arena to receive the honor, joining the Portland Trail Blazers' Moda Center and the Milwaukee Bucks' Fiserv Forum. The achievement will be commemorated with a plaque during the upcoming game against the Kings.
On the roster, Brandin Podziemski recently signed a five-year, $110 million contract extension. Fans are also watching rookie Yaxel Lendeborg, who recently recorded 17 points and nine rebounds in a preseason game against the Los Angeles Lakers.
