Golden State Warriors leverage Las Vegas 'Chase South' facility for Summer League edge

The Golden State Warriors have been using a converted go‑kart track in Las Vegas, nicknamed “Chase South,” as a secondary training site for the past five NBA Summer Leagues. Although the Warriors do not own the complex, they have invested roughly $1 million in equipment, banners and signage, and the venue now includes five full‑size courts—two of which were previously used at the Chase Center—a weight room, and dedicated workspaces for staff and the team chef.

During the 2026 NBA Summer League, the Warriors captured the title, with rookie forward Yaxel Lendeborg earning MVP honors and describing the facility as “ridiculous.” Assistant general manager Larry Harris credited owner Joe Lacob with creating the unique training hub, noting that no other NBA team has a comparable remote facility. The organization hopes the advantage will help improve on a 10th‑place Western Conference finish from the previous season.
