Golden State Warriors NBA Summer League broadcast and rookie updates

The Golden State Warriors faced the New York Knicks in a NBA Summer League game at the Chase Center in San Francisco on July 3, 2026. The matchup began at 6 p.m. CT and could be watched for free online via a DIRECTV trial or, after the trial, through a Sling subscription.

Rookie forward Yaxel Lendeborg scored a three‑point shot in the game and is drawing attention for his confident play after leading Michigan to a national championship. Veteran forward Draymond Green addressed Lendeborg’s media exposure on his podcast, stating that the rookie will need to be “rein” in as training camp approaches. Lendeborg said he was nervous about the comment but hoped it would not lead to excessive hazing.

Separately, former Warriors first‑round pick Patrick Baldwin Jr. remains an unrestricted free agent. After spending parts of four NBA seasons with the Clippers, 76ers, Kings, and Wizards, the 23‑year‑old has not signed with a new team as of July 16, 2026.
