Golden State Warriors set 2026/2027 NBA season schedule and roster updates

The Golden State Warriors have finalized key roster details and scheduling for the upcoming 2026/2027 NBA season. The team is set to open their season on October 21 against the Los Angeles Lakers.

Following a two-year contract extension signed in June, Kristaps Porziņģis will feature in the Warriors' lineup. The team also continues to build around veteran leadership, having recently extended contracts for players including Draymond Green and Porziņģis.

Warriors General Manager Mike Dunleavy Jr. confirmed that franchise leader Stephen Curry intends to finish his career with the organization. Curry, who is entering his 18th season, will be eligible to sign a new contract as early as August 29. While the club respects Curry's autonomy regarding his future, there are currently no indications he is seeking a trade. The Warriors' schedule also includes a high-profile Christmas Day matchup against the Denver Nuggets on December 25.
