Golden State Warriors sign wing Dalen Terry to training camp deal

The Golden State Warriors have signed 24-year-old wing Dalen Terry to an Exhibit 10 training camp contract. Terry, a 6'6" guard/forward, was previously drafted 18th overall by the Chicago Bulls in 2022.

Terry spent the last several seasons with the Bulls and the Philadelphia 76ers. Last season, he averaged 3.7 points and 1.8 rebounds in approximately 11.5 minutes per game. Following his time in Philadelphia, he was waived to allow the 76ers to manage their salary cap.

Terry faces a difficult path to a permanent roster spot due to the Warriors being near their second-apron hard cap. He will likely compete during training camp and may eventually play for the G League affiliate, the Santa Cruz Warriors. To secure a standard contract, he would likely need to outperform existing players like Brandon Williams or wait for mid-season roster changes involving partially guaranteed contracts.
