Golden State Warriors waive Miles Kelly for Tyler Burton

The Golden State Warriors have released preseason leading scorer Miles Kelly to create a roster spot for Tyler Burton. Kelly, a second-year guard from Auburn, recently recorded 28 points in a preseason game against the Portland Trail Blazers.

Burton, a 6-foot-7 wing from Villanova, joins the team on a non-guaranteed Exhibit 10 deal. He previously played for the Grizzlies, averaging 10.8 points and 4.2 rebounds. The move aims to provide depth at the wing position, as the Warriors will be without Jimmy Butler and Moses Moody for the early part of the season.
