Golden State Warriors waive three players to finalize roster

The Golden State Warriors have waived guard/forward Dalen Terry, along with training camp invitees Tyler Burton and Alex Toohey, to finalize their regular-season roster at 18 players.

Terry, a former 18th overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, appeared in five preseason games for the team. While he is not eligible for a two-way contract, it is expected that Terry, Burton, and Toohey may sign with the Santa Cruz Warriors in the G League.

The roster moves also impact Brandon Williams, whose contract remains non-guaranteed until January. Williams is expected to remain on the roster, with $1.4 million of his salary becoming guaranteed if he is present on opening night. The Warriors' two-way player spots will be filled by LJ Cryer, Malevy Leons, and Graham Ike.
