Goldenvoice reportedly negotiating with BTS for Coachella 2027

Goldenvoice, the organizer of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, is reportedly in intense negotiations to secure the K-pop group BTS for the festival’s 2027 lineup. The festival is scheduled to take place at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, on April 9–11 and April 16–18, 2027.

Interest in a potential appearance follows a visit to Seoul by Goldenvoice president and CEO Paul Tollett, who was seen attending a BTS comeback concert alongside Hybe chairman Bang Si-hyuk. While previous discussions regarding a stake in Coachella and promotional rights for BTS’ world tour did not materialize, the group’s current “Arirang” world tour schedule appears to allow for a Coachella performance, with their last confirmed date being in the Philippines on March 16.

Other artists reportedly being discussed for the 2027 lineup include Tame Impala, Dua Lipa, Fred again, SZA, Oasis, and Radiohead. Fan reactions to the potential booking have been mixed, with some expressing excitement and others suggesting the group’s scale may exceed the festival’s typical scope.
