Goldman Sachs lifts stake in eDreams Odigeo to 10.1% of capital

The Goldman Sachs Group increased its holding in the online travel agency eDreams Odigeo to 10.106% of the company's share capital, up from 9.737% previously reported to Spain's securities regulator CNMV. The transaction was crossed on 30 July 2026 and formally recorded on 5 August 2026. At the current share price of about €5.72, the stake is valued at roughly €66.8 million.

The position is split between 6.147% voting rights attached to shares (approximately 7.10 million shares) and 3.959% held through financial instruments: 3.363% via securities lending (about 3.88 million votes) and 0.596% via cash‑settled swaps. Most of the voting power is channelled through Goldman Sachs International, the London‑based subsidiary, which alone accounts for 9.897% of eDreams Odigeo’s voting rights. No specific rationale for the increase was disclosed, but the move aligns with the bank’s typical strategy of taking sizable positions in European companies with revaluation potential.
