GoldMining reports $185 million cash balance and strong project valuations in H1 2026
GoldMining Inc. announced that it is debt‑free and holds approximately US$185 million in cash and publicly traded securities, a total comparable to its market capitalisation. The company released two preliminary economic assessments (PEAs): the São Jorge project with a post‑tax net present value (NPV5%) of US$532 million and the La Mina project with an NPV5% of US$1.0 billion. Its 74 %‑owned subsidiary, U.S. GoldMining Inc., also disclosed a PEA for the 100 %‑owned Whistler gold‑copper project valued at US$2.0 billion. GoldMining currently operates three drill rigs in Brazil and Colombia and is mobilising additional rigs in Alaska, driving near‑term exploration catalysts. The firm’s resource base comprises about 13.1 million gold‑equivalent ounces in measured and indicated categories and an additional 9.0 million ounces in inferred resources, supporting ongoing development of large‑scale projects such as the high‑grade Yellowknife gold project in Canada.
