GoldQuest and Funcridama provide aid to families in San Juan

GoldQuest Dominicana and the Christian Foundation Dando la Mano Amiga (Funcridama) conducted the third operation of the ‘Inclusión Digna’ program in Juan de Herrera, San Juan. The initiative aimed to support 240 families with members living with disabilities by providing hygiene kits, nutritious food, lunches, and health services.

This program follows a 2024 community survey that identified more than 1,400 people with disabilities throughout the San Juan province. This data collection focused on socioeconomic conditions and specific needs to ensure resources reach the most vulnerable populations.

Planned assistance includes the distribution of mobility aids such as 95 wheelchairs, 76 pairs of crutches, 65 walkers, 60 canes, and 35 prosthetics. Program leaders emphasized the importance of providing integral support and promoting social and labor inclusion to improve the autonomy and quality of life for those affected.
