Goldy Brar claims responsibility for Hardeep Singh Nijjar killing

Gangster Goldy Brar has claimed responsibility for the June 2023 killing of Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Surrey, Canada, through a leaked audio recording. In the conversation with Paramjit Singh Pamma, Brar cited personal vendettas and allegations of criminal involvement as motivations for the attack.

Brar alleged that Nijjar supported individuals involved in the illegal drug trade and used minors to distribute narcotics. He also claimed the killing was motivated by revenge for the murders of his brothers, alleging that certain individuals associated with Nijjar were present at the locations where his brothers were killed. Brar stated he waited for Nijjar to exit a gate to avoid disrespecting religious sites.

The killing of Nijjar has been a major point of diplomatic tension between Canada and India. While Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau previously suggested involvement by Indian agents, the Indian government has consistently denied these allegations, citing a lack of evidence and suggesting the incident may have been the result of organized crime or gang warfare.
