Gole dell’Alcantara ‘Inferno’ production nears final performances

The 2026 production of ‘Inferno’ at the Gole dell’Alcantara is approaching its final performances. The show, produced by Buongiorno Sicilia with direction and dramaturgy by Giovanni Anfuso, has reached a sell-out status for online sales.

The production utilizes the natural landscape of the Alcantara Gorges as a central element of the performance, with observers noting that nature acts as a protagonist rather than mere scenery. The play, based on Dante’s ‘Divine Comedy’, features Luigi Nicotra as Dante, Salvo Piro as Virgil, and Liliana Randi in a role that transitions from a tourist to Beatrice.

The final performance is scheduled for Sunday, September 6, at 10:00 PM. While online tickets are sold out, a limited number of seats remain available at the Gorges box office.
