Yuto Katsuragawa wins BanTein Tokai Classic in Aichi

Yuto Katsuragawa secured a comeback victory at the BanTein Tokai Classic in Aichi, Japan, finishing with a total score of 12 under par. His final round included seven birdies, one bogey, and one double bogey, allowing him to overtake the leader after a difficult moment on the 16th hole.

This win marks Katsuragawa’s second consecutive victory, following his recent success at the Genesis Championship on the European Tour. It is his third career win on the Japan Tour. Katsuragawa, a native of Aichi Prefecture, attributed his improved performance and ability to maintain focus under fatigue to a rigorous physical training and nutrition regimen.

Katsuragawa will next compete in the Abu Dhabi Championship, the opening event of the European Tour playoffs.
