Golf facilities launch fundraising initiatives for breast cancer research

Various golf-related initiatives are raising funds for breast cancer research and awareness during October.

Troon and its affiliated facilities worldwide are dedicating the month to fundraising efforts. Participating locations will display pink-checkered flags on their 18th greens and host events such as golf clinics and putting challenges. The initiative supports PLAY for P.I.N.K., a grassroots organization that donates 100% of its proceeds to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF).

In Phoenix, Arizona, the Legacy Golf Resort hosted a charity tournament organized by Benjamin and Owen Fitzhugh. The event was held in memory of their mother, Beverly, and aimed to raise money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation, which provides resources such as early detection support and hope kits for families.
