Golf infrastructure and professional partnerships expand in Brazil

Golf infrastructure and professional development are expanding in Brazil through new facilities and institutional partnerships.

In São José do Rio Preto, the Quinta do Golfe Clube is inaugurating the Start Putting Course on August 30. Developed in partnership with Start Anglo Bilingual School, it is the first 18-hole illuminated putting course in Brazil. The 2,100-square-meter space is designed to be accessible to families, children, and beginners, offering nighttime activities due to its lighting.

In Rio de Janeiro, the Campo Olímpico de Golfe has entered an unprecedented agreement with the PGA of Brazil and the Brazilian Federation of Golf Teachers (BRGTF). Managed by Brasil Golf Management, this partnership aims to strengthen the sport through professional training, workshops, technical updates, and new competitions. The initiative also includes incentives for professionals, such as a 50% discount on green fees for members in good standing, and seeks to attract new players through specialized programs.
