Golf: Jaravee Bunchan rises in KLPGA while amateurs Yu and Lim claim titles

In the KLPGA Tour Hana Financial Group Championship held at The Heaven CC, Thai golfer Jaravee Bunchan moved into a tie for 7th place after the third round. Bunchan shot 5-under 67, bringing her total to 2-under 214, trailing leader Kim Min-sun by 6 strokes. This performance follows a successful season where she became the first Thai player to win on the KLPGA regular tour.

However, several high-profile sponsored players failed to make the cut. New Zealand's Lydia Ko and Australia's Minjee Lee both finished tied for 71st, missing the cut by two strokes. Other players, including Lee Hyo-song and Oh Su-min, also missed the weekend rounds.

Separately, at the 7th Dream Park Cup Amateur Golf Championship held at Dream Park CC, national representatives Yu Min-hyuk and Lim Su-min claimed titles in the men's and women's divisions, respectively. Yu secured a one-stroke victory after overcoming a seven-stroke deficit in the final round, while Lim won her first title of the season following a playoff.
