Golf tournaments held for beginners and youth in Germany

Two distinct golf events took place in Germany on October 18, focusing on skill development and community engagement.

At the Golfclub Chieming, the Harter Open was held to provide beginners, or rookies, with an accessible introduction to the sport. The event utilized a mentorship format where experienced golfers paired with newcomers to share shots and provide practical instruction. Participants included students, staff, and alumni from Schloss Stein, engaging in activities ranging from driving range practice to a nine-hole course session.

In Munich, the Golfclub München Eichenried hosted the fourth annual “The Ken” team tournament. Head Pro Ken Williams invited 14 junior golfers, ranging from the mini-team to the 18-year-old age group, to participate in a nine-hole scramble. The competition concluded with a playoff on the short course, where the team led by Luan Roth secured victory. The winning team received VIP tickets to an FC Bayern München home game.
