Golfplatzstraße in Bergisch Gladbach to undergo full daytime closures

RheinNetz GmbH has announced a full daytime closure of Golfplatzstraße in Refrath, Bergisch Gladbach, starting Monday, August 24. The closure is necessary for the installation of a new drinking water transport line commissioned by Belkaw.

Due to more challenging soil and groundwater conditions than initially anticipated, the previous partial lane closures proved insufficient for safety. The full closure will occur Monday through Thursday from 7:30 to 17:00, and Friday from 7:30 to 15:00. Outside of these hours and on weekends, the road will remain partially open under traffic light control.

While the closure restricts access, RheinNetz expects the measure to increase work efficiency, potentially shortening the project completion date from July 2027 to March 2027.
