Goliath launches Chester Cheeks interactive toy
Toy manufacturer Goliath has launched a new interactive toy called Chester Cheeks, part of the ‘Butt Face’ line. The character, designed as a smiling buttocks with eyes, hair, and a mouth, is intended to provide humor through sound and movement.
When users squeeze or pull the character's facial features, it produces flatulence sounds. Additionally, pressing the top of the figure causes it to dance to one of three included songs. The toy is designed for children aged four and up.
The product originated from a parody concept created by Barry McLaughlin and Jason Lautenschleger for a video series titled ‘The Toys That Didn't Make It’. Following the presentation of the absurd concept, Goliath executive Brian Weiss decided to bring the product to market. The toy is priced at approximately $30 in the United States and £25 in the United Kingdom.
