Golkar Party distributes 620,000 food packages across Indonesia

To commemorate its 62nd anniversary, the Golkar Party has launched a nationwide social initiative to distribute 620,000 food packages across 38 provinces and 514 regencies and cities in Indonesia. The program specifically targets vulnerable groups, including online motorcycle taxi drivers (ojek online), female heads of households, people with disabilities, and mosque caretakers (marbot).

Regional branches have implemented localized support programs. In Central Sulawesi, the party distributed 2,000 liters of Pertalite fuel to online taxi drivers. In North Sumatra, 2,500 food packages were distributed alongside a public blood donation drive. In Lampung, the distribution was carried out at the provincial headquarters to strengthen community ties.

The anniversary celebrations are scheduled to culminate in a peak event in Bandung, West Java, on November 29, 2026. Party leadership has indicated that President Prabowo Subianto has been invited to attend the closing ceremony.
