Golkar Party holds regional leadership conferences in Jakarta and Bandar Lampung

The Golkar Party is conducting regional leadership conferences (Musda XI) across different Indonesian regions to consolidate its structure and prepare for future elections.

In West Jakarta, Ryanald Jonathan was elected by acclamation as the Chairman of the Golkar Regional Representative Council (DPD) for the 2025–2030 period. Ahmed Zaki Iskandar, Chairman of the Golkar DPD for DKI Jakarta, stated that this event is part of a broader consolidation effort across Jakarta. The new leadership aims to strengthen electoral presence down to the sub-district level and increase seats in the DKI Jakarta Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) ahead of the 2029 elections.

In Bandar Lampung, Rycko Menoza has emerged as the sole candidate for the chairmanship of the Golkar DPD. Menoza, a member of Commission X of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI), submitted his candidacy supported by 20 letters of support from sub-district leadership and various wing organizations. The political atmosphere in the region is reported to be calm as the party prepares for the upcoming Musda XI.
