Golkar Party reaches 10 percent electability in October 2026 surveys
The Golkar Party has secured a position among the top three political parties in two recent electability surveys conducted in October 2026. According to the Indonesia Political Opinion (IPO) survey, Golkar reached an electability rate of 10.7%, trailing Gerindra (23.1%) and PDI Perjuangan (11.6%).
A separate survey by Voxpol Center Research and Consulting placed Golkar at 11.7%, also ranking third behind Gerindra (21.1%) and PDI Perjuangan (16.1%). The IPO survey involved 1,200 respondents with a margin of error of approximately 2.9%.
In response to these results, Said Aldi Al Idrus, Chairman of the Golkar Youth (AMPG), emphasized that party cadres are increasingly active at local, provincial, and central levels. He noted that these efforts align with instructions from Golkar Chairman Bahlil Lahadalia to maintain social activities and community engagement continuously rather than only during election periods.
