Golkar Secretary General urges NU members to uphold Qanun Asasi

During the 35th Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) Muktamar in Jombang, East Java, Golkar Party Secretary General Sarmuji called on NU members to deeply internalize the Qanun Asasi, the organization's fundamental philosophical basis. Speaking at the Halaqah Pemikiran Pesantren held at Masjid Gedang Tambakberas, Sarmuji emphasized that understanding these principles is essential for maintaining unity and preventing internal conflict within the organization.

Sarmuji noted that the Qanun Asasi, formulated by KH Hasyim Asy'ari, serves as the raison d'être for NU, emphasizing collective movement and social benefit. The forum also featured speakers KH Fatchulloh Malik and KH Ubaidillah, who discussed the historical significance of the Tambakberas Islamic boarding school and the historical context of the Qanun Asasi.
