Gomumari launches AI-BPO service for SAP S/4HANA master data migration

Gomumari Co., Ltd. has announced the launch of ‘Master Migration for SAP S/4HANA’, an AI-driven Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) service scheduled to begin on October 24, 2026. The service is designed to address the ‘SAP 2027 problem’, where standard maintenance for SAP ERP 6.0 is set to end in late 2027.

The service aims to clean and standardize item and part master data before it is migrated to the new SAP S/4HANA system. Using AI to normalize product names and identify potential duplicate parts, the process includes human verification to ensure accuracy. This prevents issues such as duplicate inventory or fragmented purchasing records that occur when unorganized data is migrated via straight conversion methods.

The workflow involves receiving existing master data, establishing normalization rules, processing all entries, identifying duplicate candidates with supporting evidence, and delivering a comprehensive mapping table. Pricing starts at 500,000 yen with an estimated two-week turnaround.
