Gonçalo Matias predicts Democratic Alliance absolute majority in 2029

Gonçalo Matias, the Minister of State Reform, predicts that the Democratic Alliance (AD) will secure an absolute majority in the 2029 legislative elections. In an interview, Matias argued that after four years of implementing reforms, the positive effects on citizens' lives will drive this electoral success.

Matias emphasized that the government's focus remains on addressing core public concerns such as the cost of living, education, health, and bureaucracy. He also noted that reforms within public administration could potentially result in savings of up to six billion euros.
