Gonçalo Poço presents Serra da Estrela photography exhibition

Photographer Gonçalo Poço is presenting his exhibition, ‘O Olhar da Montanha’ (The Mountain’s Gaze), at the Galeria António Lopes in Covilhã. Running from October 2 to November 2, the exhibition features 39 photographs focused on the Serra da Estrela region.

The collection captures various emblematic locations, including Penhas da Saúde, Torre, Manteigas, Covão da Ametade, Lagoa Comprida, Nave de Santo António, and Nossa Senhora da Boa Estrela. The works emphasize nature and landscape, aiming to translate the essence of the territory through its light, ruggedness, and serenity.

Poço, a resident of Serra da Estrela and a businessman in the bicycle industry, frequently collaborates with National Geographic, where some of his images have been selected for covers and reports. He also provides photographic support for various television channels.
