Gonçalo Ramos faces scrutiny over AC Milan goalscoring output

AC Milan striker Gonçalo Ramos is facing scrutiny regarding his goalscoring output following his €70 million transfer from Paris Saint-Germain. While statistical analysis shows Ramos contributes significantly through work rate, distance covered, and facilitating play for teammates, he has struggled to find the net, recording only one goal in his recent appearances.

Former AC Milan striker Hernan Crespo addressed the debate, noting that while Ramos is an excellent centre-forward, he has never been an “infallible sniper.” Crespo pointed to Ramos’ career statistics, specifically his record at PSG where he scored 53 goals in 131 appearances, suggesting his scoring average is not considered stellar.

Despite the lack of goals, Ramos has been credited with helping the team's attacking structure, including contributing to the build-up during Milan's recent 3-0 victory over Lecce. However, analysts suggest he needs to spend more time inside the penalty area to improve his efficiency.
