Gondwana and Quique Neira join Surfestival 2027 lineup

The Chilean reggae band Gondwana and vocalist Quique Neira have joined the lineup for Surfestival 2027. This appearance marks a significant reunion for the group, who have not performed together on stage for over 23 years.

The festival, which emphasizes surf culture and environmental care, is headlined by Jack Johnson and includes Donavon Frankenreiter. Other confirmed artists include Los Cafres, Movimiento Original, and Matanza Live, among others.

This announcement follows the band's recent sold-out performances at the Estadio Bicentenario and the Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City. The Surfestival performance is scheduled for February 13, where the band is expected to perform classics from their first three albums: ‘Gondwana’, ‘Alabanza’, and ‘Made in Jamaica’.
