Gondwana Ecotours launches Alaskan wildlife and glacier adventure

Gondwana Ecotours has introduced a nine-day ‘Glaciers & Grizzlies Adventure’ in Alaska, designed for small groups of up to 16 guests. The itinerary focuses on wildlife encounters and glacier exploration across the Kenai Peninsula, Kenai Fjords National Park, and Katmai National Park.

Key activities include fly-in excursions to remote grizzly bear habitats such as Brooks Falls or Chinitna Bay, helicopter flights over ice fields, and dog-sledding experiences with professional mushers. Water-based activities include kayaking and coastal boat excursions to view humpback whales, orcas, and sea otters.

The tour emphasizes sustainability by partnering with the environmental firm Cooler to audit greenhouse gas emissions. The company aims to carbon-neutralize the footprint of each guest, covering emissions from accommodations, meals, activities, and local transportation.
