Gong Yoo holds Asia fan meeting tour in Jakarta and Bangkok

South Korean actor Gong Yoo held his ‘2026 Gong Yoo Asia Fan Meeting Tour: The Long Take’ in Jakarta and Bangkok. During his appearance at Istora Senayan in Jakarta, Gong Yoo expressed deep emotion, stating he was moved to be able to meet Indonesian fans closely for the first time.

However, the tour faced criticism following an incident at the One Bangkok Forum in Thailand. A video circulated on social media showing the actor fulfilling a fan's request to mimic a dog's behavior. The footage, which showed the actor crawling and sticking out his tongue, drew backlash from netizens who condemned the request as disrespectful and dehumanizing, arguing that paying for a ticket does not grant fans the right to mistreat celebrities.
