Gonzaga basketball announces Altana jersey patch sponsorship
Gonzaga men’s basketball has announced its first jersey patch sponsorship, partnering with Altana, a New York-based artificial intelligence company specializing in global trade and supply chain management. The partnership, which begins with the 2026-27 season, will see the Altana logo featured on game jerseys as the program enters the Pac-12 conference. While the financial terms remain undisclosed, funds are expected to support Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) initiatives and campus facility upgrades.
Separately, the Bulldogs are facing roster uncertainty heading into the upcoming season. While the official 16-man roster has been released, the eligibility of several key players remains unresolved due to ongoing legal battles and NCAA rulings. Players Javon Bennett, Chauncey Wiggins, and Izan Almansa are currently in eligibility limbo. Xaivian Lee is presently eligible following a temporary restraining order, though his status remains subject to potential court appeals.
The team is scheduled to host its annual ‘Kraziness in the Kennel’ scrimmage on October 3, which may serve as a preview for fans despite the ongoing regulatory uncertainties surrounding certain roster members.
