Gonzaga basketball updates: Cornell matchup and player transfer

The Gonzaga Bulldogs men's basketball program has updated its 2026-27 non-conference schedule, which includes a historic matchup against the Cornell Big Red on December 31, 2026. This marks the first time the two programs will meet.

In women's basketball, guard Ines Bettencourt has entered the transfer portal with one season of eligibility remaining. Bettencourt, who previously played for UConn before joining Gonzaga, was among a group of plaintiffs granted a fifth year of eligibility following a California lawsuit.
