Gonzaga Bulldogs look to improve shooting ahead of Pac-12 move
The Gonzaga Bulldogs are preparing for the 2026-27 season amidst significant roster changes and a transition to the Pac-12 conference. A primary focus for the program is addressing a three-year decline in three-point shooting accuracy, which saw the team hit just 33.3% in the 2025-26 season.
To combat this, the team is banking on graduate transfer Chauncey Wiggins from Florida State. Wiggins, a 6-foot-10 player who functions as a wing, shot 38.7% from beyond the arc last season on high volume.
Other key storylines include the anticipated breakout of guard Davis Fogle, who showed significant promise during his freshman year, and the roster's pending status as the program awaits NCAA eligibility decisions for international commits Nathan de Sousa and Izan Almansa.
