Gonzalo Miró and Ane Ibarzabal Take Over 'Malas Lenguas' on Spain’s La 1 During Jesús Cintora’s Leave

Jesús Cintora will be on summer vacation starting Monday, 3 August, and will step away from RTVE’s weekday program ‘Malas Lenguas’ on La 1. To maintain continuity, RTVE has appointed journalist Gonzalo Miró as the interim presenter, with fellow journalist Ane Ibarzabal serving as co‑presenter.

Miró, who previously co‑hosted the live news show ‘Directo al grano’ with Marta Flich, brings extensive experience in radio and television. Ibarzabal, a long‑time member of the ‘Malas Lenguas’ editorial team, is known for rigorous reporting and clear communication. Together they will present the daily edition from Monday to Friday on La 1 and La 2, as well as the Saturday night flagship slot ‘Malas Lenguas Noche’.

The temporary change aims to preserve the program’s hallmark of contrasted information, analysis, verification, plurality, and public service while Cintora is away.
