Gonzalo Secchi appointed to lead liquidation of former IOSFA

Argentine Defense Minister Carlos Presti has appointed Gonzalo Secchi as the new administrator to oversee the liquidation of the former IOSFA, the military social security organization. Secchi replaces retired Colonel Ariel Guzmán, who was removed after failing to meet established liquidation objectives.

Secchi, a lawyer, public accountant, and administrator graduated from the University of Buenos Aires, brings a background in corporate auditing and fiscal oversight. He has served as an auditor for the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange Foundation and is a founding partner of the firm Secchi, Palou & Asociados. His professional history includes roles in companies such as Pragmático S.A. and Risilmar S.A.

The transition occurs as the military social security system moves toward the new OSFA for the three Armed Forces, led by Brigadier General Pablo Plaza. Secchi has publicly expressed support for the zero-deficit policy of the Javier Milei administration.
