González Byass appoints Enrique Murillo as Director General

González Byass has announced the appointment of Enrique Murillo as its new Director General. Murillo, who currently serves as the company’s International Director General, will officially take over the role on November 15.

Until the transition is complete, Murillo will work alongside the outgoing Director General, César Sánchez Moral, to ensure a smooth handover. Sánchez Moral joined the firm in September 2022 and is concluding his leadership of the company’s current strategic plan.

Murillo joined González Byass in 2011 as Chief Financial Officer. His previous leadership roles include serving as CEO of Pedro Domecq México, Director General of the Americas Division, and managing a joint venture with Grupo Emperador for Bodega Las Copas SL and Domecq Bodega Las Copas SL.
