González Byass relocates parent company from Luxembourg to Jerez

The wine group González Byass has relocated its parent company from Luxembourg to Jerez de la Frontera, Spain. According to the Mercantile Registry, the group has transformed its Luxembourg-based entity, Gonzalez Byass & Co. Ltd. S.A., into a Spanish limited liability company named González Byass Holding SL, with a capital of 500,406 euros.

The move is part of a broader corporate reorganization aimed at increasing efficiency and reducing costs. Sources indicate that maintaining international corporate structures has become more expensive due to stricter European and international regulations regarding tax and transparency. These evolving norms have increased management and compliance obligations.

By returning the headquarters to Spain, the group seeks to simplify its corporate structure. The transition maintains the legal personality, assets, contracts, credits, and obligations of the previous Luxembourg entity, meaning the company's core activities and assets remain unchanged.
