Several entities have been honored with the 2026 Good Design Award, a prestigious Japanese recognition for excellence in design and functionality.

Omron Healthcare Co., Ltd. received awards for its upper arm blood pressure monitors (HEM-762X/HEM-752X series) and its compressor nebulizers (NE-C910/C920T series). The blood pressure monitors were noted for their ability to detect atrial fibrillation risks and integrate with smartphone apps for long-term management. The nebulizers were praised for balancing high durability for medical use with quiet operation and user-friendly controls suitable for home use.

Additionally, the National Elementary School Tooth Brushing Competition, organized by Lion Corporation and several dental and health associations, won the award. The competition, which has been running since 1932, was recognized for its effective educational design. It provides schools with all-in-one teaching materials and experiential content that helps children develop lifelong oral hygiene habits through sensory learning and digital media.
