Good Good Golf loses Callaway and PGA Tour partnerships after controversial ad

The golf media brand Good Good Golf is facing severe professional fallout following a controversial advertisement produced in partnership with Callaway Golf. The promotional clip, which featured co-founder Garrett Clark shoving female content creator Alexis Miestowski to the ground, was widely criticized for trivializing violence against women.

In response to the backlash, Callaway has severed its partnership with Good Good Golf and announced a $1 million donation to organizations supporting survivors of violence against women. Callaway CEO Chip Brewer admitted that the company’s internal content review process failed to prevent the advertisement from being approved and posted.

Additionally, Good Good Golf has stepped away from its role as the title sponsor for an upcoming PGA Tour event in Austin, Texas. The PGA Tour has also expressed disappointment with the brand’s initial response to the incident. Further consequences include the cancellation of the 2026 season of the Golf Channel reality series 'Big Break x Good Good' and major retailers, such as Dick’s Sporting Goods and Target, pulling Good Good merchandise from their shelves.
