GOOD MOVE campaign promotes healthy habits in Europe
The GOOD MOVE campaign, a European initiative co-funded by the European Union, has concluded its first three years of promoting healthy lifestyles among young adults in France, Spain, and Poland. The program aims to encourage increased fruit and vegetable consumption and higher levels of physical activity without using guilt-based messaging.
Research indicates that across Europe, average fruit and vegetable consumption is approximately 10% lower than the 400g daily recommendation set by the World Health Organization. In Poland, dietary habits vary significantly by age; the 18–24 age group consumes the least, with only 35% meeting daily requirements. However, data from CBOS suggests that over 80% of Poles aged 18–34 engage in sports, making them one of the most physically active demographics.
To evaluate the program's impact, an international roundtable featuring experts from France, Spain, and Poland was held. Participants discussed scientific findings and practical experiences regarding nutritional behaviors and physical activity to better inspire healthy daily choices among young people.
