Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center deploys mobile MRI unit
Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis has deployed a mobile MRI unit to increase imaging capacity and reduce patient wait times. The unit is currently undergoing testing and network integration at the hospital’s Neville Building.
Scheduled to begin taking patient appointments during the last week of October, the mobile unit is expected to remain at the facility for approximately six months. The initiative is a response to rising demand for diagnostic imaging, which is critical for monitoring conditions such as cancer, neurological disorders, and orthopedic injuries.
The mobile trailer was previously leased to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital to maintain services during an equipment replacement process. Its arrival in Corvallis will result in temporary parking changes near the Neville Building, though accessible parking will remain available.
