Goodachari 2 receives early praise from director Rahul Ravindran

Director Rahul Ravindran has shared early praise for the upcoming Telugu spy thriller Goodachari 2 after viewing a rough edit of the film. Ravindran, who viewed the footage while approximately 70% of the shoot was complete, described the project as a potential new benchmark for Indian spy thrillers, specifically citing its visuals, action sequences, plot, and twists.

Produced with a budget exceeding Rs. 100 crore, the sequel to the original Goodachari is significantly larger in scale. The film marks the directorial debut of Vinay Kumar and features Adivi Sesh alongside Emraan Hashmi and Wamiqa Gabbi. While Ravindran hailed Sesh as one of the best Indian actors in the spy genre, observers note that the film will face the challenge of delivering a narrative strong enough to justify the nine-year wait for fans.
