Goodpatch acquires Band to strengthen AI-driven development

Goodpatch has acquired Band, a Tokyo-based company specializing in e-commerce construction, application planning, and software development. The acquisition, effective September 1, 2026, aims to strengthen Goodpatch’s competitiveness in the intersection of design and development.

Through this move, Goodpatch intends to integrate Band’s expertise in AI-driven development to improve productivity and reduce labor costs across the group. The company plans to offer integrated support ranging from the construction of AI-driven development environments to product development and in-house system implementation. Band will continue its existing development partner business while leading the development of services centered on generative AI-driven corporate support.
