GoodRx to pay $32 million in privacy class action settlement

GoodRx has agreed to a $32 million class action settlement following allegations that the company shared users' personal and health-related information with third-party entities, including Meta, Google, and Criteo, without consent via tracking technologies.

The settlement is available to U.S. residents who used GoodRx services—including its website, mobile app, GoodRx Gold, or GoodRx Care—before April 20, 2024. Eligible claimants can receive an equal share of the settlement fund after legal fees and costs are deducted. Generally, no supporting documentation is required to file a claim, though users must attest to their eligibility.

The deadline to submit a claim or file an exclusion is December 29, 2026. A final approval hearing is scheduled for February 11, 2027.
