Goodwill to open music-focused Rewind store in North Carolina

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont is preparing to launch a new retail concept called Rewind, which focuses on music and media rather than traditional donated clothing. The first music-centric Rewind store is scheduled to open on September 4 in Matthews, North Carolina.

According to Joy Elmore, public relations and communications manager for the organization, the store's inventory will include vinyl records, CDs, DVDs, and cassette tapes. The shop may also offer music-themed apparel, collectibles, vintage audio equipment, game systems, turntables, and record players. To enhance the customer experience, the location will feature retro arcade games and a dedicated listening room for testing records before purchase.
