Goodwood Festival of Speed 2026 showcases BYD's eight new models and Future Lab tech expo

BYD Group will debut eight new vehicles at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2026 (July 9‑12) in the United Kingdom, spanning its premium Denza brand, the Dolphin G DM‑i plug‑in hybrid supermini, the Yangwang U9 Xtreme supercar, the U8L swimming SUV, the U7 executive saloon and more. Executive vice‑president Stella Li said, “With eight premieres across three distinct brands, BYD Group is demonstrating how innovation, performance, premium design and sustainability can coexist within one of the most comprehensive automotive portfolios in the world.”

The festival’s Future Lab exhibition will feature more than 90,000 visitors exploring robotics, artificial intelligence, quantum computing, healthcare, space exploration and digital‑twin technologies. Highlights include IBM’s “Quantum Chandelier,” Formula E’s GEN4 race car with a Google‑cloud‑based driver‑agent AI, lunar‑exploration displays tied to NASA’s Artemis programme, and underwater habitat concepts from DEEP. Curator Lucy Johnston noted the show “brings together innovators and researchers developing technologies that could shape the future across multiple industries.”
